Over the last couple of years we have noticed that the Music Festivals don't seem to be selling merchandise very well. Most people look at the Merch table for a minute or two and just walk away, losing the sale. Based on our observations they're not selling the proper items or the items are of inferior design and quality compared to what industry chain stores are selling.

Case in point.... You can go to the festival and buy a Logo T shirt for $25-$30 dollars. The quality of that T is usually stiff, the logo is printed with a heavy rubber ink that makes people sweat in the summer heat and the material the T shirt is made of is usually not soft.

On the flip-side, you can go to Target and get a well designed, soft printed, soft T shirt for for around $10-$15 dollars. Now we all understand that Target is mass produced, but you can't tell me that a festival can't find a way to produce high quality, soft print, soft T shirt for same price festivals are charging now. Sometimes greed is good, but repeat and happy customers we believe to be better.

The selection of merchandise at most festivals is quite weak. We often wonder how much research is done in understanding what the customer actually wants.
